Financial Accountant

We are currently looking for an experienced Financial Accountant for our Zwijndrecht location. Do you have a sharp eye for numbers and are experienced in financial reporting? The Role

• Responsible to maintain and update fixed assets module
• Preparation of all the fixed asset schedules and movement reports required by BPC, monthly operation reports, GFA and Head office.
• Monitoring and preparation fixed assets spent report and ensure in line with budget
  Preparation and computing of monthly custom duties based on custom and import licences for reporting purposes.
• Preparation and monthly submission of statistical information to Central Bureau of Statistic Netherlands.
• Preparation and monthly submission of intra-community (among Europe countries) transactions to Tax Authority.
• Prepare and maintain hedge accounting computations
• Involve in preparation and reconciliation of monthly VAT transactions report to be used in the monthly VAT filing purposes.
• Issuance of sales invoices or credit notes to customer includes of verifying of delivery notes before invoicing.
• Upload invoices into Tungsten.
• Posting of payments and clearing of customer invoices against payments in account receivable module in SAP.
• Reconcile salary transactions provided by payroll service provider and upload into SAP

Job requirements

• Bachelor's degree in accounting (or equivalent)
• At least 5 years' experience in finance and 3 years in a similar role
• Knowledge of IFRS (big plus) and/or Dutch Gaap (must)
• Good knowledge and experience with SAP
• Good knowledge and experience of Hedge accounting
• Experience with VAT/Custom reporting
• Experience in a multi-national company
• Communicative in Dutch and English (must)
